Some Chlorine Test Strips only work with bleach solutions.
• 【Warning】-- The test strips have an approved working range. They are designed to detect a maximum of 500 PPM of Chlorine. The pH maxes out at 9. You cannot test pH and Chlorine outside of this range. The strips will not change. These are not universal strips. If you test pure bleach the strips will bleach out and will not change. Pure bleach has a ppm of 50,000. This is well outside the range of the tests strips. If you are not getting a reading, your solution is either too weak or too strong. Bleach expires over time and will eventually turn into plain salt water. Please read the dilution chart and educate yourself before you attempt to dilute and mix your own chemical solutions.
